Gallery: Digital By, With and For Children and Young People Nesta Tech Talk
Nesta, Arts Council England, Arts & Humanities Research Council, RIO and i-DAT invite practitioners, companies and researchers using digital in projects for children and young people to the Digital By, With and For Children and Young People Tech Talk.
The event will bring together projects from the Digital R&D Fund for Arts portfolio along with others developing digital product by, with and for children and young people. This is designed to share the learning that has been developed during the lifetime of the Fund and to learn from those working in the ‘digital space’.
There are a number of organisations exploring how to use digital technology to develop projects working with, produced by and delivered for children and young people. This session will look at projects working in this field, showcasing their work and exploring a number of issues including:
- The assumptions about ‘what works’ when working with children and young people
- How to ensure the experience/product is high quality – and what do we mean by that?
- How to develop quality, ethical user testing experiences
The Tech Talk will include presentations from organisations working with children and young people, a discussion and opportunities to network with other organisations working in the field.
